A song I want to include in my (in-progress) children’s book:

Wolf, my wolf, carry me away
The dreams are all gone but the nightmares stay
Wolf, my wolf, don’t you hear me cry
Why must old friends leave with no goodbye
Why oh why must great wolves go,
their shadows long in the thick snow.
